This weekend I made some Lavender infused syrup, It was super easy to make and delicious! I drizzled it over berries and vanilla ice cream for a sweet Mothers day treat for Mom.
Lavender Infused Syrup
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
4 tbsp dried lavender
Combine all the ingredients in a sauce pan and simmer for about 35 minutes. Let it cool in the refrigerator at least 4 hours or overnight. Strain the lavender through a cheese cloth into your container.
Perfect for sweetening teas and cocktails!
